Terms of Service

1. Who these terms are between

Our Kind of Love (“OKL”, “we”) is operated by Randall Finney. These Terms apply when you create an account, buy a membership, or use account or member features. Browsing our public pages without an account does not by itself make this agreement binding on you.

2. Adults only — and where that applies

You must be 18 or older to create an account, to buy a membership, and to access member content. When you create an account you confirm you are 18 or older, and we record that confirmation.

We do not verify your age. Our public pages — the homepage, video listings and promotional material — are open to anyone who visits, and we do not claim they are age-gated. The age requirement attaches to accounts, purchases and member content. See Age & eligibility.

3. Your account

One account, one person. Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity under your account. We do not offer account sharing, family plans or multiple profiles.

4. What membership gives you

A personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to watch our content on this site for your own private enjoyment, for as long as your membership is active. Some videos are free to everyone; the rest require membership.

5. What you may not do

• Download, record, copy, redistribute, publicly perform or re-upload our content.
• Share your account or your password.
• Circumvent access controls, or scrape or harvest the site.
• Use the service for anything unlawful.

We do not currently apply digital rights management to our video. That is a statement about our software, not permission.

6. Rights in the service

We own or control the rights in the OKL service and in our protectable material — the human-authored, edited, arranged and compiled elements of our videos, together with the site, its design, text and branding — and we use other material under appropriate rights or licences where applicable.

Your membership gives you access to watch. It does not transfer ownership, and it grants no right to copy, redistribute, or make derivative works.

7. How our videos are made

Our videos are original fiction. They are produced using AI-assisted scripts, AI-generated synthetic character imagery and synthetic narration, created and reviewed by us before publication. See AI & synthetic media.

8. Customers do not create content

There is no upload, prompting, generation, editing or publishing feature for customers, and no creator marketplace, community feed or AI companion service. You watch what we publish.

9. Content standards

What we publish and what we refuse is set out in Content standards.

10. Membership, billing and cancellation

Governed by Billing, cancellation & refunds, which forms part of these Terms. In short: memberships renew automatically until you cancel, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.

11. Availability and changes to the library

We aim to keep the service running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Our library changes: videos may be added, edited or removed, and we do not guarantee that any particular video remains available for the life of your membership.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, is used unlawfully, or is involved in fraud or payment abuse. You may close your account at any time by writing to info@ourkindoflove.net.

Refunds following cancellation or termination are governed by Billing, cancellation & refunds and by applicable law.

13. Changes to these Terms

These Terms carry a version identifier. Editorial changes — clearer wording, corrected links — do not require you to accept again. If we make a material change to what you and we owe each other, we will ask you to accept the new version.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, and the Illinois courts have jurisdiction — except where the law where you live gives you rights you cannot be deprived of by contract.
